Card does not have to be in their name. You can pay, I did the same for my mom.

Should we use the new portal for applying or can we still submit application through the cic.gc.ca account? I didn't know about the new portal until 2 days ago and I had all the documents uploaded in the cic account for the application and was just waiting for payment. Is the new portal different to use, is it complicated? Should I just continue with the application in the cic account?

Not yet but hoping to receive a decision by December. Applied from Bangladesh and visa office is Singapore.

I Applied Canada visit visa from Canada for my brother he is in India by new portal on Oct 13 , 2021. Biometric completed October 19. After that no update

I have applied TRA on October 22 for my 5 months old son who was born in India .Me and my husband,we both have PR. No communication yet on TRV. Will he require biometric (as he is 5 months old)? Do anyone have any idea about when they would communicate with us?
