I filed H and C on line and the portal of the consultant shows Client ID numberxx and File Noxxxx . Is it treated as AOR ? But there is no email from IRCC but got email for biometric. Is AOR process over or wait for email of AOR? Please @Ayanna @Kaytayoon
i think yes because if they gives you an application number starting without X it means the application is complet and also ther sent you biometric request so they verified the file

I’m helping someone with stage 2 process Niagara Falls office requested rcmp fingerprints too I was wondering how long will take for rcmp send the fingerprints certificate now days it’s say 1 to 14 business days but in some places it’s say 1 to 4 months I’m confused now
Anyone have recently experience please share
So sorry for late reply. Yes I got it yesterday. Submission was on Sept 21st. I sent the certificate to my officer and he said he's sending file for final review. How long is final review taking now?
Usually took us around 30 days to get answer from Niagara. IRCC reserves the right to request additional documents, so even though you lived less than 6 months there, they may have decided that they still want to see it. Is it too hard to order US police certificate? I would just try to give them what they want to avoid delays, if you have not heard from them soon that it was a mistake.

If you got biometric email, you can consider it same as AOR because it should have your file number on it and it confirms your file was received and deemed complete. Otherwise you would not have received biometric

I have a question regarding biometric. If I still have valid biometric with immigration, will they request another one because I applied for H&C? My understanding is that it takes 10 years for any biometric to expire. Someone should please educate me on this.

Usually shortly after AOR. Sometimes ECAS gets activated only after file goes in process. In very rare cases, file never gets added to ecas. For all of my partner's 3 HCs, ECAS never worked.
