I’m seriously thinking of applying for the 3rd time now, this time on the new portal.
1st app 24-aug (GCKEY)
2nd app 15-Sep (GCKEY)
I’m a PR, visitor application is for my 1 year old child. I thought my case should be pretty straightforward

I checked my mom's application today. We re-applied. As I refreshed gckey website, I saw that her first application says "application/profile updated." While the second application still says "submitted." I took a photo of it but when I refreshed again, both applications have the "submitted" status. Is this a ghost update or a good sign?
I don't want to get my hopes up lol.

I got the same update. My dads application showed update and moms showed as "Submitted". When i went back, i dont see any change or update. All status remain same.

I got a excited for a minute. But maybe it just means someone opened their application.

yes, they have touched the application. Did you send any documents via webform? Or may be some update they did.

I reapplied the second time through GC Key but now Im having second thoughts.. Maybe should have applied through the new portal.

I will still wait until 30 business days are over. Hopefully will get some response
