New Instructions from IRCC for applications before 7th Sep 2021

Hello friends,
As a temporary worker in Canada, I have applied for my wife's visitor application on April 28. Due to the continuous lockdown situations in india, they have not processed my wife's emergency visitor visa application to reunite with the family. As I got my new extended work permit, based on the thread they asked to file one more application if our status has changed. So I have applied another visitor application on September 13. Yesterday we have received biometric confirmation letter as my wife has already given the biometrics long back for another rejected applications.

Can anyone let me know if they started processing the application and how many days will it take further?

I had Status Updated when I logged in, refreshed the page and it changed to Submitted.

Can I ask, after how many days did you get the BIL instruction after submitting the application on new portal?

I used GCKEY, I didn't submit it on the new one. The application was submitted on Sept 6th and Biometrics were done on the 8th. I got the Biometric letter a couple of hours after submission.

I see. I was under the impression that new portal needs to be used to any TRV applications, particularly for family reunification.

PPR: 5th October
Parents have US visa and past Canada visa
Office: UAE (For Pakistan)
