For paper based application how to get forms signed by overseas depandants?

Hi, I am a quebec PGP, I was told to apply to IRCC first and then they will send out a letter and I would apply for CSQ once the letter has been issued, though I havent received the letter yet. Are you also a Quebec PGP?

Yes I am. But did you apply for PR for your folks to IRCC already or are you waiting to get the CSQ first to apply after?

What do you mean? You will have to apply to sponsor your parents, that already includes an application for your parents to apply for a PR (under your sponsorship). After you applied, IRCC will send you a letter to apply for CSQ. You can not apply for CSQ without having to applied to sponsor your parents first.

Email the scan copy of signature pages only to overseas applicant and after they sign they will email u back. Attach this to the rest of the pages on the file and apply. I do the same and it’s accepted by ircc.

What do you mean? You will have to apply to sponsor your parents, that already includes an application for your parents to apply for a PR (under your sponsorship). After you applied, IRCC will send you a letter to apply for CSQ. You can not apply for CSQ without having to applied to sponsor your parents first.

Interesting....the reason I asked this is because QC IMM website shows apply to IRCC only for sponsor application then apply to QC once IRCC gives ok to get CSQ......once CSQ received, only after that, apply for PR for folks. This seemed different on reading it compared to other provinces where you apply for sponsor and PR together to IRCC. Hope this made sense?

I see what you mean. I think this all happens automatically in the background. You will submit all of the forms (excluding the one about your income) to IRCC, they will review your eligibility, and once you are eligible, they will send you a letter which you can use to apply for CSQ. I think then IRCC waits for the CSQ from you, once they receive it, they will continue on processing the PR application for your parents. Hope this helps

Does IRCC accept digitaly signed signatures from demand overseas ? or do they have to print , sign and scan back .. then print and submit with application ?

Hi, congrats. Can you provide more info about your app please? When did you submit? Mine was received Feb11, Sponsor is In Process since Aug17, but I have received a biometrics request today, Sep03 and no medical request yet. For some people usually biometrics and medical are the same date, so I am guessing maybe we get ours next week.

as far as I know, after Medical will be background (Police) check and then if everything goes well then its Passport request. I hope I am right. Some seniors in this forum can give you more info.

Ofcourse, here’s my timeline

sent application - 8th feb
In process - 12th Aug
Medical request - 3rd sep
Biometrics - not needed, as they’ve valid ones for the next few years

Oh interesting, I thought they would not need police verification….can someone please confirm?

No we didn’t have to mail the results. The doctor we used will directly upload the results! We didn’t have to do anything

I did receive email regarding resubmission ofof IMM5669, due to missing hand signature. Which I did in May. I had temporary application number i.e XF*******. When I try to check application status using F******. I don't get any application on CIC. What should I do with this situation? Should I call them? Will they replay based on temporary application number?

hi there! I think your application number is the one starting with F*******
However, I’d recommend to use your UCI number (instead of the application number) go check the status of your application!

I have an exact same problem. Beside the fact that i have not received any communication after April when they asked for additional family information.

Hi Everyone

my parents haven’t been invited to apply yet but I am planning of time.
They currently have a super visa and plan to stay with me while we apply for their PR

I was looking at the website and it says that they only need:
Biometrics
Police check
Health check

i can’t seem to find online the application package. Can someone send it to me ?
i am assuming the application is not as simple. What other paper work have you been asked to present?
