A quick question! I have uploaded all information and photo on June 7th and I got copr on June 28th. It’s been 2 months todays waiting for PR card , Anyone is here in the same situation??? Please Respond I have to travel as I have a family emergency happened, Called Ircc many times and they said they’re working on it and now they’re prioritizing Afghan crisis

Nothing sure especially with the apparent lack of system on how IRCC does things but recently in this forum there are people that received their cards in 2 weeks or so. I certainly hope so.

Sorry for this! I received my eCoPR today after one day of uploading my photo and address. Not sure how long it will take them to send my PR card, but it seems many people here got their card in less than two months. Good luck and I hope you will be able to travel soon.

Updating point-8 as per my experience:

Linking PR Card application;

1. Login into your CIC account as you usually do.

2. Reach the page where you click "Check full application status" to view your application and messages

3. But do not click on that rather click on " Add (link) your application to your account"

4. Select the "Category" from the dropdown as "Permanent Resident Card"

5. Under Application Details, from "Please select one" select "Unique Client Identifier (UCI) and Family Name"

6. Put your UCI as it is NO SPACES and NO HYPHES

7. Put your Family Name as on you CoPR - UPPER and LOWER CASE matter here

8. The tricky one, Place of Birth Section. Here "City/town of birth" is very very crucial. Copy it as it is on your CoPR, any commas, upper/lower case, spaces, just copy it here.
Enter Place of Birth as it appears on your passport, including commas and respecting spaces if any

9. Select your "Country/territory of birth" from the drop down

10. Next section is pretty easy as you just select your "Date you became a permanent resident" from dropdown. This is the day you did your landing by either flagpole or landing interview

11. Put "Country of Citizenship" and "Current marital status" from dropdowns.

12. Click "Search for my application", if all the inputs are correct then it will show you that the system has found your application. You just have to click Link my application to account and it will now be shown on "View the applications you submitted" page with your Permanent Residency application.

Thank for the information. Is this something I should do? I received my eCoPR today, nothing in the instruction says to connect it to my account. I also looked at my account I see

Hi there, I received my PR approval letter on 20th August. I replied with the details they asked for portal credentials they asked for. But since then I got no reply. People are usually getting reply within a day or two but it’s been more than a week for me. Then I read someone posting on web forum that you could try creating your account on the portal because sometimes they initiate your process even without sending your the login credentials. But my portal is empty. This is so frustrating and I’m getting worried.

I got my eCOPR on August 16, and also linked the card to my account. But there are no updates, only a GU without sending email. Do u guys know the approx days that the card will be sent out?

hi same thing happened to me. i got the 1st email on 5th aug, replied same day. but did not got the credentials for another two weeks. then i replied again on aug 22nd and got the credentials on aug 23rd. Try emailing them the exact same response again, it worked for me.

But I have already created the account on portal with my account and password. The same email I mailed them.

I got my eCoPR yesterday, should I connect it to my CIC account? or I just connect my PR card?

Anyone created the account on Portal themselves after not receiving any credentials email. After creating the account, I can only see start new application option only. It’s worrying me.
