Has any one who got asked for passport scans know how long it takes before you hear back from cic? Iv been 4 weeks nearly.....

You won't hear back. Most offices don't respond after you've submitted PP pages.

Hi All, completed the oath ceremony yesterday. Tracker updated this morning to application closed. Waiting for the certificate now. Thanks to everyone on the forum for the support over the years. Cheers and Best Wishes.

While checking my status this morning,
I have seen
Your citizenship application status
Updated:August 11, 2021

Last time date was may 03 2021 .

those other lines : physical presence, prohibitions and language skills are still in process.

just new date on top . Dose it mean something positive or it’s just a regular.. ?

Lately people are seeing the dashboard updated to recent date without any actual log/history. but after 1-3 days they do see the other things get updated.
so good luck to get your DM this week.

So it seems like we need to change our expectation to the least ( the ghost )

i have spoke to the ircc on 2 occasions , and both times been told well under the time line for processing also ,sent an email to be told the same .
it seems Saskatchewan is the black hole , as i found another forum on here with Saskatchewan applicants. and some go back to October 2019 .
so it seems to be wait it out , they did tell me i should have a response by the end of 2021 ,but they are leaning towards 2022 .
there is a big backlog and covid .

Received my Citizenship Certificate today in the mail! Exactly 4 days after completing my Oath Ceremony All the best everyone and don't lose heart. Time to migrate to the Passport Application thread
