Yeah, I guess we were lucky. I feel for those awaiting their PR in the midst of a global pandemic - I can't even imagine the stress they must be under at the moment. Hopefully, their Canadian dreams will also come true sooner or later.

Hi @Wandering Mind ! I also remember you from the 2017 days. Nice to see a familiar name in the citizenship forum I'm also really glad I was able to settle in Canada before the pandemic. I know a number of people who moved during the pandemic with quarantine and all and it was tough. And they are luckier than the people who are still applying or whose COPRs expired.
Make sure the application form and the calculator printout have the same application date.
Does it mean: If on the calculator( Online) if I show today`s date then on Main application form cit0002 must have today`s date as a signed ?
Second, on my physical online calculator, it shows the eligibility period 2016-07-17 To 2021-07-16 ( Mentioned I am signing an application today 2021-07-17).
But when filling out Form -cit0002-e : Number 9 : I will provide a signed copy of the online physical presence calculator ( Checked) then under
9-A : Enter To date from the calculator: 2021-07-16 then it populates from the date as = 2016-07-16 ( Not 2016-07-17 as it shows on the online presence calculator). I am not able to edit From date as it gets calculated based on To date.
So this is the mismatch of 1 day. Is this acceptable ? Has this happened to everyone ?

This 1 day mismatch is a known issue and it's fine. You only have to make sure that the end date in the calculator and the application are the day before you sign the application.

Hello @trumprefugee! It is indeed nice to come across people from back in the day and hearing that they made it too - I hope Canada has treated you well so far.
Those days/weeks/months in 2017 felt so stressful which I now realize is nothing compared to those awaiting ITAs or CoPRs in the midst of a global pandemic. I agree the worst hit are those whose CoPRs have expired Hopefully things will look up soon and they'll be able to immigrate sooner or later.
