The new dashboard system is designed such that any update will be shown real time first in the tracker. Then I guess it goes into a queue for emails to be sent later. I'm still yet to see any emails as well. Dont worry, you'll get it soon.

The status on the dashboard isn't realtime. It is likely updated by a batch job every morning.

My test invitation and test "Completed" status were both updated on the dashboard one day later than when the update actually happened.

Ohh thats right. Its refreshed overnight I guess, just like ECAS. But I have seen ppl report updates later in the morning. Nothing at 7AM and update at 11 AM. I checked before going to bed, nothing and morning at 6AM there were updates.

BTW, do you know if OPP/City police can take fingerprints or does it have to be Commissionaires in Ontario? As you know, there is no RCMP in ON.

You'll have to go through a fingerprinting agency, I guess. I am not sure as I never received a FP request.

For Fingerprinting:
Just Google RCMP ACCREDITED FINGERPRINTING, You will see plenty of options,
Once you check their reviews (in case you want to be sure) you can communicate and see how the appointments are available.
Book accordingly to your availability, they usually charge between 40-70$ for the service (can vary according to options available in your area).

once processed, wait 4-6 weeks for an update.

RCMP call centre for general inquiries is closed, so you might only have to send an email in case you wish to follow up in about 4 weeks if you see zero movement.

Can't tell you that because the time greatly varies. Might only be a few weeks or could take months - I honestly don't know.

I honestly wouldn't count on the application being done before that to avoid disappointment. But if it does happen before that, all is good. If it doesn't you'll have to make other plans.

today online my status shows they are waiting for fingerprint. But i did not get any email or letter on how to submit fingerprint.
Should i just wait or contact them? what do i do ? please help

I am from Calgary as well. I got the FP request email today. It looks like Vancouver office is processing my application as the letter instruction is to forward the FP to Vancouver office.
