Hello
does speeding ticket/violation affect citizenship application ?
Traffic violations wont affect your application in anyway unless its a DUI or an arrest involving an at fault accident.
I am waiting for the Decision Made on the status of my application as well but it seems that IRCC is delaying this phase of the application.
Got it, thanks!
Updated my language skills, physical calculator and prohibitions to complete.
Anyone from Ottawa who applied in August? My tracker shows background verification completed on Feb 24th and nothing after that. I looked at the excel and saw that Ottawa seems to be the slowest in terms of processing applications.

Updated the spreadsheet. That's Decision Made. Check your ECAS and you'll likely see DM status.

No my friend, Scarborough office is the slowest, they were slow even pre-covid.. Now they’re working at snail’s pace.. maybe even slower.

@royce110 Bro any update on your application? I remember yours was stuck with background verifications as well... My BG was set to complete today.
Hello everybody,
For those who have already taken the test, does anyone know whether invites or notifications for the final stages of this application ( interview/oath ceremony), come with a time window similar to the test invite, or is it a specific set date?
So much frustration about this never-ending wait story

( and it would be quite ironic if an applicant gets the interview / oath invite when not physically present in Canada, thus making this long process even longer

(
Best of luck to all

I think its a specific date. So it wont be with time window and it wont be with 3 weeks time gap most of the time. Also they are now allowing to take test outside, so if you are outside and receive interview invite then you can certainly request them if you can attend from outside.

Interview and Oath don't have a window.
At this time, there are no reports on the forum OR no official news about IRCC allowing applicants to take the interview outside Canada.
Oath certainly cannot be taken outside Canada because you'll have to cut your PR card at the end of the ceremony (on camera) and you won't get your citizenship certificate for the next few weeks and you can't apply for a Canadian passport without the citizenship certificate.
I am from Calgary as well. I got the FP request email today. It looks like Vancouver office is processing my application as the letter instruction is to forward the FP to Vancouver office.
Application timeline please? Please let me know if any of your checks are completed. Thank-you
Hi Guys, i lost my COPR paper, i have my PR card. Do we need COPR at interview or ceremony stage?
