INTENTION OF REFUGEE PROTECTION DIVISION TO SEPARATE YOUR CLAIM FOR REFUGEE PROTECTION FROM OTHER CLAIMS
The refugee protection division (RPD) intends to separate XXXXXXX. This means that your claim will be processed separately since the claimant was not included in the principal applicant application under the Health Care Workers Public policy program.
(I didn’t include my step-son (13 years old) in the application because he doesn’t fall in the definition of a family member.)
Any advice.

Did you have the same refugee claimants before or separate?
If there was no way to prove him as a dependant on your pathway application there was no way you would have put him. I will advice you speak to a lawyer. There seem to be no way he will benefit

You can bring family members with you to Canada if they were processed for permanent residence as your dependents. This includes:
- your spouse or common-law partner
- your dependent child
- your spouse or common-law partner’s dependent child
- a dependent child of a dependent child
You could speak to your lawyer maybe they could do what is called the amendment of the application and include your step son and inform the refugee board that you have included your step son in the application.
This might delay your application, have seen this work before.

Good day everyone, Please I want to ask like how long or the average time it takes for you to receive the email for Medicals after you AIP? I got my AIP on May 4th and in the mail, they stated we will send you an email for Medicals but I have not gotten it by now. Thanks for your response in advance.
If you don't need medical(if your previous medical is still valid) you will not get any email. I didn't get any medical requests.but when I tracked my application is showed medicals received
Ok, thanks, I don't know if I wouldn't need it because all they said was they will send a mail but I will be checking my application online to see what it says, thanks.
