This is a standard term for immigration. It stands for Last Name Unknown.

As per instruction by IRCC if the personal does not have any last name or surname on passport then write full name in Last name and keep first name column black.

Yes, it is normal, CIC removed the progress bar as they are unable to meet the six months processing time due to COVID-19, i also submitted the file on March 20, 2021 and medical was passed on March 31, 2021
