This is awesome!!! And it actually makes total sense -- the minister said himself that Canada is fully behind the idea of making the entire immigration process "virtual and touchless" (his words).

What? I'm not suggesting you are lying but this is almost unbelievable LOL.
Anyway, congrats and all the very best!
One detail that is missing is the IP status. Did you or did you not receive your IP status on ECAS? Without IP, I think it is almost impossible to receive a test invite.

I find this hard to believe. Even at the best of times (pre-COVID), that timeline from submission to test is insanely fast (and without urgent processing at that).

Did you have less travel? Do you work for the government? Was there anything out of the ordinary that might have sped up the process?
Can you see your application on ecas?
i expected people to say the test invite is unbelievable, i would have thought so too, part of me still thinks they made a mistake and forwarded me an invite meant for someone else. I guess i'll find out on the 26th when i log in and attempt the test. i don't need anyone to believe it, i was sharing here because i thought that is what we were supposed to be doing.
i will try to answer some of the questions i saw regarding what may have sped it up. I do not know. I did not request urgent processing, i do not plan nor need to leave the country anytime soon. I have visas to most countries i want to visit in my home country's passport so if i need to i can use that. in my application, i included my past 3 years of NOA and my full passport scan even if it was not required. I attached it in the spot for other documents. I did travel during the past 3 years but very minimally, i was busy going to school and establishing a life here so had no time to leave the country. i do not work for the government, i work for a private immigration law firm. No i cannot see the application on ecas.
