LOE stands for Letter of Explanation - you can use it to explain extenuating circumstances that back up the days put in your Physical Presence Calculator. Definitely put in an LOE along with your proof when resubmitting it.

If you can provide a copy of your employment letter, confirming the time you worked there that will probably provide evidence that you were working. Did you were here with a tourist Visa or Temporary Resident Visa? I think the first one doesn't count in the time for Citizenship but the second one does.
