Today I called IRCC about why my application information updated in eCAS but didn't get AOR yet, and they provided application number and informed that there is technical issue with my application acknowledgement receipt that's why it delaying. not sure what does it mean ...any thoughts?

Hi

I have two friends who are August 2020 applicants. One got Application received and one got in process.

I say that you do not need to worry. U got application #, that means application is complete.

This has been happening to quite a few applicants lately. If you look at the tracker, some applicants got IP directly without getting an AOR first.

I was looking at the 2019 tracker, and it suggests that after getting the online knowledge test request, the remaining citizenship steps is only taking about a month.
A few January 2020 applicants have already received test request, so we are about 6 months away give or take

I got exactly the same:

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on July 13, 2020.
2. We started processing your application on January 22, 2021.

What does in process status means ? How long the ircc invite for the test, does in process mean the application submit is complete ?..

App sent:-22nd July 2020.
App Rcvd :- 24th July 2020.
App On Ecas:- 5th Jan 2021.
In Process:- 28th Jan 2021.

please update the Spreadsheet.

No AOR YET.!!!

It means the file has been transferred to the LVO (Local Visa Office) where further processing begins (like BG checks etc). The test invite is issued by the LVO.

so the application is under further process ? Or are there chances of returning the application.
