@NMontD No they did not provide me any application number, they said application number is not issued yet. I was following the old conversations and found it seems to be a trend that after getting Status Application Received on ECAS, everybody calls CIC and they give application number on phone. But they did not do that for me this morning. Something changed apparently.

Yes i would like to know as well if app received is like 70 or 80 % confirmation?? Or we have to wait until the decision is made..

Checked the ecas today and looks like my application started processing on January 12, 2021.

Please updated the spreadsheet.

One thing, I found that my current home address is different than the current mailing address in ecas. Home address showing the one in Canada and mailing address showing my address from the country of birth. Is that normal?

applied for a family of four, three had correct Canadian mailing/home address , one of my child mailing address showed home country address, i sent in an online address change request..

Hello guys, I have sent two application to CIC, I did a mistake on the first one.

Now I see both the application is in the ecas with different received dates ..!!!! What should I do? I called CIC , but the lady I spoke to has no Idea she said..!!!!

So then it means.. " App Received " is just saying after six month that they received app ?..they woul take three to six more month to confirm education, fees , work documents, any case or, proof all the information provided ?..isnt this process so long ? Huh

You don't submit education and work documents for citizenship grant applications. The standard processing time is 12 months. This was true for about 60 - 70% of applicants pre-COVID-19. After COVID, the processing times have increased significantly.

AOR => File transfer to local office (IP) => Background / Criminality checks => Additional documents (if any) => Test => Oath

This is the standard path for most people. It does take time - applicants from July, August 2019 are just now receiving test invites.

I believe you can only link Proof of Citizenship and Search of Citizenship applications and not Grant of Citizenship applications in the Citizenship category.
