I did not bother about the delay assuming that the letter can be used where WP is required until new WP is approved. I read on the same thread that this letter can be used with your expired RAMQ for emergency medical purposes and if you have employer health insurance that is valid then even better.
Same problem here.
I knew we were in implicit status until a decision was made, but the content of the letter is contradicting that:
You are authorized to continue working with the same conditions (ie: employer and occupation) until March 26, 2021 or until a decision is made on your application, whichever is first.
This is the third time I renew my work permit and I never had such a sentence on the letter.
This time I received 2 letters very similar, one with that sentence and one without.
Another mistake or another problem they are trying to add for us?
I am going to call them closer to this date. If they say I can't work, I will not work and I will not pay taxes to them. No problem.
This happened to me as well. My A75 closed permit expires in February, and the letter gives me one more month until early March. I reached 100% in May so I am in my 29th month of the PR process. I called IRCC and they said the letter is new and is like a courtesy from IRCC. I guess because they are taking too long with the PR process
just inland dpplicants who have got MR ... there is no MR for outland specially Sydnry Office ....yes Psris office was issuing PPR for their applicants in cople of mobths ago but Sydney nothing

They could have avoided to add that date that is confusing and contradictory... Since they take longer than 4 months, why do they add that 4 months limit? They could have added a 1 year limit, for "courtesy".
Now I am worried that RAMQ will renew the medical card for 4 months only, instead of 6 months, if they see that date in the letter...

I am inland and still waiting for medicals...
And in the meanwhile I have to renew, for the third time, expired work permit, health insurance card, etc... to be able to keep working in Canada and be covered by the insurance. Of course work permit renewal has a significant delay too nowadays.
It's very frustrating for inlands too, let me tell you.
