Hi there, I recently received the reply from CIC, my application received on FEB 27 2020 was rejected because of missing information. I would like to resume the application however I am out of Canada until FEB 2021, I'd like to send my original application again through my friend in Canada, is it acceptable?

Sorry to hear about it. One question please, did you ask them about your application and found it out? Or they simply returned it to your mail box.

You can ask them to send whoever is within Canada. This is just the package but signature should be of yours if it is needed in one of the documents.
There is no restriction that candidate only should send the application.

I just checked and my application status has changed to 'in process'. Does anybody know what to expect now? Do we have a timeline to hear something from them? Sorry I haven't been following the forum because of family issues but I am still very interested in knowing and sharing the process.

Nope, 2019 applicants are waiting to take the written tests. Everyone is waiting just for that now to restart. I dont think any tests will begin until 2021 now with holidays coming and cities across Canada going into stricter lockdown measures.
