PR decision made means your parents requested to submit their passport.

how long they take for passport submission?once online status says DECISION MADE on PR

I just received the following request, PCC, Government Service, Passport renewal copy even though all of this has been submitted to CIC 5 months ago. I will resubmit.

If you send same documents again the case officer may have a look at the case seriously.

There will be PPR email after PR DM happens in ecas.
If DM happened recently, PPR may come in few weeks.

My application was in process since Jan 23. Still stuck with social checks. Reached out to MP but not able to help.

Anyone here on the same boat? Application date received Jun 14 2019.

Almost same situation application date is june 14 2019.in process since 28th January 2020. Social security check conducted written in GCMS notes.Reached out to local MP but no help from her.my province is Ontario. My Aor date was 23rd October 2019.last week talked with IRCC agent.he said your sponsorship approved. Just final touches remaining. Letter will be issued shortly.ecas still shows IN PROCESS

Hi Everyone, May 29th 2019 applicant here. I received letter requesting passport yesterday. Even though the VO is CPC-M, the letter was issued by CPC-HONG KONG. In the request letter, it mentioned:

" Your Permanent Resident document(s) will expire one year after the date of your medical
examinations or earlier if your passport or the passports of your spouse or dependent children (if applicable) expire on an earlier date. You must travel to Canada and present your immigration documents at a Canadian Port of Entry before they expire. The validity of the Permanent Resident documents cannot be extended."

My parents did their medical in November 16th 2019. It is (almost) impossible to send them the passports, get them back and land in Canada before the one year deadline. Anyone else faced similar issues?

i got an update for my situation described above. I received the documents in myCIC today and it seems that IRCC gave us a less than 6 months extension from the medical expiry date and the landing expiry date is March 31st 2021.
