Errr... a question.
11 July - 11th Aug = 1 month
11th Aug - 11th Sept = 1 month
11 sept - 11th Oct = 1 month
11 Oct - 11 Nov = 1 month

Isn't your rough processing time about .... 4 months?

I got the approval letter, but not the hard copy in the mail yet. Do you know how long it will take to arrive? I may need to travel in a month or so, but the visa processing time takes 50days. So I want to apply ASAP.
Can I apply for a visitor visa with uploading the Work permit extension approval letter? Or I have to wait the hard copy and then apply for the visa?

If we approve your application, we send you a message in your online account and mail you your new work or study permit. You can apply for your visitor visa before your work or study permit arrives, but you must provide proof that your application has been approved, such as:

• a screenshot of your online approval
• your application number
• any other document that proves you have a valid and approved study or work permit extension

If I have to go overseas before the temporary resident visa is approved, can I just leave and later on send my passport to the Canada visa centre close to me once approved while I'm overseas?

Yes you can leave country anytime but you'll require approved visa before you enter back into country. It depends on what you fill in for current country of residence and country where you're applying. Please see below. I'm not sure if you can change that on later stage and send your passport to any VAC.

Hello Guys,
I have a question. I had applied for Global Talent Stream Visa for Canada 3 Months ago. We all know that the processing time for GTS is 2 weeks but now it's 3 months after biometric I am still awaiting a response from Embassy. Is anyone have an idea that how much it will take to process my visa or due to Covid the processing time will also increasing?
