My partner and I got our documents back on October 23rd, because his English proof was not valid. My application was okay/completed but since we submitted it together they sent back the whole package. They said we could just provide another english proof for his application and send documents back. So we did. Documents were received again on October 29th. Do the time of review gets restarted, so should I now follow the October 2020 thread? Thank you!

Why the English proof was not valid?

The reason was no explicit, but he submitted the IELTS results he used for PR and we didn’t realize that it said “Academic” in the document and they require “General”. So, it seems this was the reason. I submitted CELPIP and it was okay.
