They will send your application back as it is incomplete. The application guide very clearly says that you need to include two pieces of ID, one of which can be your passport but can't be your PR card. You only included one piece of ID (your passport) but if you didn't include anything else, I wouldn't waste time waiting for them to send back your application but instead send a new application with the same receipt and a letter of explanation (and of course, the second piece of ID).

They don't even need to bother with a letter of explanation. It will be a long time between when they send back the already sent application and when they get to the newly sent one.

Hi Everyone, please a quick question. Am about submitting my application and it requires photocopies of two (2) pieces of personal identification. Can I submit a copy of my passport bio data page and a copy of my Ontario health card? Don't know if health card will be accepted

By the way, all the information is on the Document Checklist: I highly advise you go through it thoroughly since making a small mistake will cost you potentially half a year (and even more because with the current backlog. 2021 applicants are likely in for a 3 year wait!)

- I was out of the country from March 28 to August 28th for school. I was in Europe from March to June and then South America form June to august. Do I need a police certificate for each country ? I was in each country for less than 3 months at a time and out of Canada for a couple of days shy of 6 months.
- to demonstrate proof of English can I send copies of my diplomas? I did my undergrad and masters in Canada
- the biographical pages of the passport , do they need all the pages of the passport photocopied ?
- personal identification document - can I use my passport again? Drivers license ? What else can I use ?

sorry for all the questions , I just want to make sure I get it right the first time I mail it out.

1. I don't think so, PCC if you satyed in 1 country more than 6 months.
2. I think yes, they say "Diploma, certificate or final transcript for a secondary or post-secondary school program in English or French"
3. Only the bio page that has your photo and your info.
4. Yes, password + (driver license or healthcare)

Read the wrong number from my physical presence calculator for this forum - actual physical presence days - per the submitted calculator, is 1104 days!
