Hi @legalfalcon,
just a quick question - from your experience, does IRCC extend medicals for inland applicants and ask to re-do medicals for outland applicants?
Or it doesn't matter?
Regards.
If you are in Canada, then the likelihood of getting an extension is higher. When assessing for a an extension, the officers send the medicals for reassessment to the regional medical officer who decides whether to give an extension or ask for remed. The decision is based on the country of origin, residence, and the medical grading of the medical report on file.

I got my PPR yesterday and as per the latest GCMS notes the validity of the COPR is till 22/12/2020 which is exactly two months from now. If I send my passoport this week, it will take at least 3 to 4 weeks for VISA stamping. Since the international borders are still closed in Canada, can you please suggest what I should do in this case. Do I need to request them to extend the validity of COPR?
