Proof of Income Requirement- Question

Hey everyone,
I have a basic question regarding Proof of Income required for sponsoring my mother’s PR.
Is it mandatory to have 3 years of income in Canada or US income tax return can also work? I became Canadian PR in end of 2018 and was working in the US from 2015. I recently moved to Canada early this year.

You must have Canadian Notice of Assessments for the last 3 years & need to have filed Canadian income tax. US income /tax returns doesn’t count.

Even if I have lived in the US and filed taxes in Canada as well as I am a PR here, I will get Canadian Notice of Assessment. Will that assessment count considering I have lived in the US for whole taxable year?

If you have filed in Canada since 2018 and on Line 150 of your tax filings you meet LICO for 2018 and 2019, you should be ok.
