Are there still people from January who did not get he AoA.

My application was received Jan 29, still no AoA and no returned package.

CIC reply says they are still processing January applications.

I am quite sure someone here yesterday called ircc was told they started sending test invitations in fact they sent some last week.
Then idk what happened to the post? Deleted/edited? Was really good to see that for a sec.

I submitted my application in Jan 2020 and in Sept 2020 it went to In Process state.

Just few days ago I got fingerprint request. Is that common ? I asked a friend of mine who got citizenship last year didn't went for any fingerprint submission. I am worried now.

Not every one gets finger prints. It all depends on individual application and each application is unique.

I submitted my application in Jan 2020 and in Sept 2020 it went to In Process state.

Just few days ago I got fingerprint request. Is that common ? I asked a friend of mine who got citizenship last year didn't went for any fingerprint submission. I am worried now.

Only some people get fingerprinting request. Its completely normal. Nothing to worry about.
Can you see this request on ecas also or its only the email ?
