India PCC from Toronto

No brother, now they just ask for copy of passport. Yesterday I applied for pcc via walk-in.

Which bls you have applied ? Vancouver bls/consulate asks original passport . It is not required for Toronto and Ottawa. Checklist are different for each and available in bls website.

Brampton bls
They told me they are not taking original passport because their processing time is more than amonth. So they can’t hold it.

No. But you have to wait in long line to enter. I went around 7:30 and my number was seven. So go early in the morning.

My PCC application reached BLS on 1st Sept,
transited to CGI on very next day.
Got my file number on embassy website on 7th Sept.
Received police verification initiation email yesterday.

Though still i can not track it from PSK, any clue?

you can check the status for your file internally. It is getting updated here. Login with you credentials where you filled the passport form initially.

You cannot take any action on this ARN as the same is under processing at the respective Indian Embassy/Consulate. In case of any queries, please refer the website of the corresponding Embassy/Consulate (or the Outsourced Service Provider, if passport services are outsourced).

thats what it shows. I contacted my taluka police thana and they said they have not received any police verification request yet, my district police station they must have received it and they will forward to them. So need to wait for 2 to 3 days. Wondering if this is the way it works.

Its from Passport office in Kanpur. I agree that system is a mess. I am trying all possible avenues like twitter, grievance portal, trying to reach local police station, SP office. I have raised Grievance again for today's email. Lets see what is the response.

I raised a grievance for my application today on https://portal2.madad.gov.in/AppConsular/user/preUserLogin
I mentioned my Brother's India mobile number and he got a call from Passport office. The person on the other side said that its awaiting some signature of a Passport officer and due to transfer and all it is pending. It is not only pending for my application but for many other applications. He said that it will be done in 2-3 days. So, I assume at least a week before the said 'Technical Problem' is resolved.

Hi it is saying "UNABLE TO FETCH APPLICATION STATUS PLEASE TRY SOMETIME LATER"
Is it just for my application or for everyone ?
