If that is what they want get a passport in tatkal. You cant argue with them anyways.

Although in Feb i applied and my passport doesnt have wife's name. They accepted and gave pcc. In her passport my name is added though.

BLS is weird. They rejected my application for the reason of photo. Later I sent new application with same photo, which was accepted.

I have to apply for PCC and I am not able to reach BLS through phone or email. Is any one there who has applied for PCC in Canada recently. If so could you please share some information on how to apply.

Is it through postal service or in person appointments?

I got a PCC verification email. Do they ask the marriage certificate if the status is married or any document which shows the spouse name?

Nothing you can do..need to be patience only.. no idea how embassy folks are working:-(

Hi, I put my father name as my last name on the application for PCC , as when i landed on Canada they put my father name as my last name on my SIN.

Anyhow when I submitted it bls they processed it and police verification was done on 17th AUG, But when they try to sign the application on their system to submit it or approve it, it is not allowing them to submit at local police station system, So my application is not getting processed , Would it be Because my passport does not have my father name as last name, would that complicate my application or will it get rejected?

Any one who got approved or have applied could you please advise if you made similar name format on application was there any complications because of it?

Today morning I received an email stating that my Police Clearance Certificate is pending due to a Technical Problem. They did not mention what is the problem and when it will be resolved. I have raised a grievance asking about the same. Lets see what they respond. Policeman had already visited my home on 2nd Sep and cleared the file.

Guptaji, from whom did you receive the email? also did you send an email to which it was a reply? My police verification was conducted on 30 Aug at my home and no response from anyone, I raised a grievance , and the response was, police verification is still pending, though it was done 5 days earlier to that reply. I am not sure how to approach this problem. The system is in a mess.

Its from Passport office in Kanpur. I agree that system is a mess. I am trying all possible avenues like twitter, grievance portal, trying to reach local police station, SP office. I have raised Grievance again for today's email. Lets see what is the response.

28th August: passport admin email regarding police verification initiated

status tracking unavailable after this.

2nd Sep: police verification done at local police station
10th Sep: email from consulate Toronto with soft copy
11th Sep: dispatched from bls with purolator tracking I’d available in their website

22nd Aug: submitted application at bls Toronto walk-in center

24th Aug : pcc review at psk

after this no updates . Haven’t received passport admin email with police verification initiated yet. Inquired with SP office and local police station, they have not received any request.

No reply from following up in Twitter, grievances emails .
Raised a grievance on below portal and it is updated yesterday with Work in Progress.

I have made calls to Commissionerate with the help of my friend who is a police, all they are saying is you file is not in our office, we have submitted to PSK. Now I'm lost, I made a complaint and i got response that contact CGI canada for this service. If anyone has any information or in same page please let me know what to do. PSK Hyderabad.
