About checking in eCas, am I able to access it only when the application (citizenship) is in process, or anyone who’ve had any sort of application in the past (PR for example) can access it with UCI? I remember I was able to login when I was in a sponsorship process 5 years ago, but I have tried right now and it doesn’t work.

once you get the AOR, you should be able to see the status within the next business day

I thought that the first nightmare is getting the file returned and later asking for pcc, additional documents and then asking later on passport copies even after test (apart from in between delay in getting all clearances)

You are absolutely right. PCC would be the 2nd nightmare then
