Hello all,

I have a question if anyone can support [irrelevant to the forum discussion, apologies for that]

I became a landed PR in July 2019 and then 10 days later came back to Dubai to complete some pending tasks. I was supposed to move to Canada for good by May this year. However, due to COVID-19, I am unable to travel now and for safety plus economic reasons, I am thinking about moving for good by Feb 2021

If I land in Feb 2021, I would still be able to complete 3 years out of the 5 years of PR [which expires in July 2024]

Can moving this late affect my PR status or citizenship application in the future?

No you are good if some how any issue you can renew you PR card not a problem, Btw i am Zuberi as well

does any one of you attended Citizenship Ceremony around the week of Mar 2nd to Mar 6th and applied for passport after that ? Did you receive your passports or are they still stuck in Passport offices and not being delivered due to Covid-19.

mine got stuck on transit at a post office in mississauga and still haven’t received it yet... Did my oath on 5th of march. Just hang on.

I did the test December 16 at Scarborough office.

Decision made on December 17 2019.

No ceremony or any update after that.

Please comment

I did the test Jan 9, 2020 in Scarborough, also waiting.
