PPR - Sep-20-2019
Passport, Photos & Form Sent: Sep-26-2019 (Fedex - From USA to Ottawa, CA)
Passport delivered to Ottawa: Sep-27-2019
Visa Printed: Oct-4-2019
Application Approved (Status in myCIC) - Oct-7-2019
Return Tracker Activated: Oct-9-2019
Passport & CORP Received: Oct-10-2019 (Total 13 days)
Visa Expiry date: Jan-8-2020

Hi, is Jan-8-2019 your medical date?

Hello guys,

I am a FSW-O applicant of permanent residency of Canada, I'm based out of US. I have sent mine and dependents passport for visa stamping and COPR but have not received the passports back yet. I have a vacation planned and I need my passports back. I have already sent an email to CPC-O but not received any response. Can someone please advise what can be done to expedite the process?

My timelines are below:

PPR request - Sept 11th
Passports sent - Sept 13th
Passport delivered to CPC Ottawa - Sept 16th
Photo re-submission request, 1st (for all applicants) - Sept 19th
Photos sent - Sept 20th
Photos delivered - Sept 23rd
Photo re-submission request, 2nd (for dependent applicants only) - Sept 24th
Photos sent - Sept 25th
Photos delivered - Sept 26th

Planned travel date - October 22nd

Since I haven't heard back on photo re-submission again, can I assume that photos have been accepted? By when do you guys think I will hear back and received passports and COPR back?

Any help and direction is appreciated.

Generally you dont. login to your account and check. I did not get an email with details on the update. But i was checking the fedex packet. As soon as it was activated, i knew that the application is approved.

Ok thanks, I think the application approval happens first before the return tracker activation. Let me keep checking the account as well as the return tracker.

Can someone suggest the best way to carry and show proof of funds upon landing at port of entry? Ideally we shouldn’t be carrying more than CAN$10,000 when we fly apparently but the minimum required funds for 2 people is CAN$16000

guys today i got a ghost update in my cic account after submitting my passport on the 24th sep. is it normal to have ghost update after ppr?

I received ppr today and the letter said submit passports to vfs cairo egypt but the main applicant is in egypt and me the spouse i am resident at saudi arabia where i did my biometric also so we sent email to cairo office to change only the office for me and to allow me to submit the passport in vfs Riyadh at saudi arabia not Cairo so can the Cairo visa office not accept to change the office only for the spouse or no problem ?

My status has changed to approved now. Now waiting for the return mail tracker from fedex to get activated (for shipping from ottawa to seattle USA)

I got my PPR on the 3rd of September and Passport was delivered to Ottawa on the 7th October. I had 2 questions if anyone can help:

1.) I used Fedex for delivery and the address used was 365 Laurier Ave West, Ottawa ON, however, it was delivered to 2303 STEVENAGE OTTAWA, ON K1A1L1. Has anyone else heard of this happening? It was signed off by R.Rosy.

2.) Secondly, I had called IRCC yesterday and asked the for an update. the agent couldn't see anything which showed that the passport was delivered but said that it is very common and that it will update soon enough. Just checking if someone has experienced this or not?

1) That sounds weird because they are 2 completely different addresses, check for "proof of delivery" and also check with Fedex where it was submitted.
2) It seems to be normal since my passport reached them on the 3rd of October and I havent heard anything from them since then

When did your passport reach them? How long from your passport reaching them to retrun tracker being activated? Did you get any other updates in the meanwhile?
