Hi Everyone!

Asking for a friend. She's sponsoring her mom who is in Canada under super visa. She's had the medical done and hoping that processing goes smoothly & fast that they'll get the PR by end of the year? But she will be 2 years staying in Canada by Dec. Should she apply for extension of stay, exit Canada or just hope that she gets the PR by then? Appreciate your insights. Thanks!

Question to seniors. I received a letter from Amman embassy for my dad. They asked for police certificate from Jordan, Turkey and England. Well he lived in Turkey for 4 years in the 1960's and lived in England in the 1970's for 2 years. Is that a mistake or they actually require police certificate from countries he lived 40 and 50 years ago?! Thanks.

How did the embassy know about this? Is it something they see in their database about any country he stayed in or did you mention those countries on his travel history form?

When I am checking the ecas for my dad who is a dependent in the PGP application, the following status is appearing with his name, " If you want to see the details of an application, click on the underlined status.". However I don't see anything after it.

The only option appearing below the message is "Remove website access to my application status and address information."

Surprisingly, my sposnor case is still in process and today i see in my cic account request for biometrics, is this normal ?

as per Ecas what is your appl received date?

As per ECAS, the application received date is May 23. However, as per the date on the Canada post delivery tracker it was 26 May. Another update is that, I received the Biometrics letter from CIC. Does this mean sponsor approval is done?

mine is the same. I am not sure what's going on with June applicants. seems like sending AOR became slow after. I am unable to link my application as well.

I did enter all my one parent application under my account. is that right or should I use her account?
-Open my GIC account
-Link Application
-Enter all information about my mom under General Application form
-Number of applicants should be? = 3 [Sponsor + Sponsor's spouse + mom]

CIC got my application on June 4 "when I truck it by Canada post" but I CIC never get back to me or even if they got my application I called them yesterday they give me a file number , but still I can not link it to online account or I did not get th AOR yet...……….any updates anyone...………..thanks,

I am also june 3 applicant & didn’t receive AoR yet.

I am June 04 applicant and am able to see activated ecas and able to link gckey account, however no AOR . This is information sharing for all in same situation.

I needed my wife to be a cosigner to have the minimum income requirements for IRCC
However quebec requires less and my salary alone is enough, do i still need to add her because she's in the IRCC application or just me is ok ?

Just a random thought.

In case we get a conservative government after the upcoming election. How could it impact the ongoing processing of PGP 2019?

What could be possible scenarios? Please share your thoughts.
