My File has been also traffered from Missisauga to New delhi just as of today. Everyone says it take more extra time now rather than missisauga gives approval. But some of the persons says that all files goes to Delhi to verify if your spouse live outside of country. Not sure what will be next now.

Oh but my spouse lives here with me. Ive not heard of that though. I know so many people residing in india and their vo was new delhi. Some also the processing time has become faster Off late. Lets just hope for the best !

Anyone here can explain why does the file gets sent to NDVO in certain cases? Are these non routine applications (Divorcee, dependent kids, adopted kids, 2nd marriage, non traditional marriage, inter caste marriage, etc) or just a generic normal arranged wedding? Just trying to understand the process of why there's such a huge number of applications going to NDVO.

Reasons include, marriage certificate, POF source, visa rejections , and Canada vo workloads

My file transferred to Delhi in eng of march but I got email on the 9th april saying your file has been transferred to NDVo... yes intially it eas transferred to Missisauga and then NDVO.

Even I recvd Pre Arrival on the 25th of July. File got trf from Mississaug to Delhi on the 15th of April.

Can you guys share timeline of how long the file has been sitting eating dust in NDVO and if some of you got updates then how long did it take. i see everyone saying 2-5 months but people have been waiting for much longer. I never received AOR 1 but got SA months after, its been 6 weeks since my app was transferred to NDVO and haven't received any email from them regarding if they've received it or if it has been opened yet, for all i know its still up in the air.

You have nothing to worry about, honestly, best to trust the 12 month timeline. Our application was submitted in November and approval has just been done now. Your application was received in January, you are in good shape.

Yes, it was last week. Everything since then has been surprisingly quick, received Pre-Arrival next day.
