That is probably correct. It's curious to me why our application wasn't processed in Sao Paulo to begin with but IRCC works in strange ways.

My application was processed in Mexico VO, but when the time came it was the SPVO who stamped my passport. I believe that all of Central/South American applications from outside Canada are processed in Mexico VO.

My passport has not been requested as yet. We are still waiting not sure if they will even ask for it; as we are from a visit exempt country. So I am hoping they stamp it at Pearson Airport. ( I know wishful thinking)

Finally long process about to get over
plz dont loose hope , if you dont see any updates on file , same happened with us and it was very stressfull journey , but at the end when you see golden email , your all stress goes away

Quick question! Is it necessary for sponsor to travel with person being sponsored when entering Canada for first time? I split my time between Canada and Middle East (husband lives here), so do I need to be traveling with him? Or can I go by myself and he can come by himself once his ppr goes through?

Also, any updates for applicants whose file was transferred to London?? It’s almost been three months over the 12 month deadline for us they asked for new police certificate and updated form, which we already sent over a month ago! No update..not even confirmation of having received the files!!!

What's makes you think it's unacceptable? Especially that 10 months of waiting. I didn't order any notes yet, cause I don't get what's the point when I can see the status of it on C"application status online". I have appointment tomorrow with MP from Ottawa tomorrow. July 6, 2019 was the 10 month mark. My wife is so fed up with this. Especially with her country situation.

I'm not sure who Toronto local MP is. But I live in Ottawa and just did a quick Google search. So for you. Just Google Toronto local MP. Email them and tell them about your situation and they'll get back to you. My MP's representative got back to me within an hour and appointment the next business day. Your situation seems tough. How can VO keep someone passport for so long? That is messed up
