Can I change the NOC code from 2173 to 2174? I was under the wrong assumption that 2173 was dedicated to software developers while 2174 also had interactive media developers. After close scrutiny, I came to the conclusion that 2174 suits my work profile.

Will it be an issue if I change my NOC.
Please note that I did not receive an ITA yet.

Predictions for July 24th draw:

457-458 with 3600 ITAs

456-457 with 3700 ITAs

455-456 with 3900 ITAs

Let's see if CIC increases the ITA numbers further to 3700-3900. However, I have a hunch that the current number of 3600 ITAs will set to be continued for a few more draws.

They increased to 3900 from September onwards last year. But then again, CIC has been acting entirely differently this year. Increase in the draw size has been the only positive of this year.

I think this small increase already is positive sign for us! Let's hope they follow last year's trend (even from September onwards) so that we can get by this year

With these numbers I seriously feel I have no hope. My wife is hopeful though. Both of us are 27 and we are appearing for ielts this month end. Even if we get clb 10 we will be at 443 points. Both of us are working and can't leave our jobs. I have my CFA charter which I now feel is of no use as I don't see it being accepted by wes. No idea how to increase points. Seeing the pool increasing I feel really low.

I have no idea what to do next..

Im at 441 ( will loose 5 points in Oct and applied without spouse) but joined a pg diploma course and learning French. Not gonna go down without a fight and you shouldn't either.

Too many sadist people are here. We are sitting at 450 and these rude people saying crs score will never come down to 450. Thats is really heartbreaking.
