My father got letter to submit Military job history which is as follows
He cannot remember all his serving details (asked in IMM 5546) as he got transferred from one location to another during his 30 years of military service. neither do he remembers all his supervisor's name. He did not serve as a high ranking official. He or his unit was never involved in any direct or indirect combat related activities.
Does he need to submit IMM 5546?
If not, can anyone please provide/point to a generic explanation letter that we can use as a reply?
Based on 2 cases that I know from 2018, no. They didn’t refund the bio fee.
My in laws and my friend’s parents applied last year and both got their visas. They paid the bio fee but immigration didn’t ask them (maybe because they already did it for their visitor visas in 2017).
Long story short, IRCC hasn’t refunded the $170 yet.
Nope, there has not been an embassy for immigration purposes in Venezuela for at least 8 years. All the processing for PR is done in the Mexico Visa office, so that does not matter at all
The Canadian embassy in Venezuela was only providing services for citizens, even the interviews have been done for years in Bogota VO

Nobody promised it wasn’t going to be random only that the order of applications selected would be determined by the EOI. It does seem like those who submitted early are being processed faster than those who submitted later. It is a mail room with stacks of applications that they are processed in batches as they come in.
EOI doesn't matter either, we received the confirmation email at 1220, I think there was not an earlier time for this email, so that order for EOI does not matter at all when processing the app

I’m trying to link my application to MYCIC account but it shows that no records were found. My application was received on May 9th and it shows up on the ECAS.
Just want to make sure I’m entering the right information there, can someone please guide me what information to input? What option did you guys select? Should I input my information there or my mothers (she is the PA, please note that I am selected myself as the representative))?
