It was received on April 30, Ecas is available from May 2nd, I linked it on June 26 and today it was updated to in process both for sponsor and for applicant, and when I click on sponsor part it says that they started to process the application from July 3rd

Got a pdf in mycic just now asking for biometric, the letter says must do it before going to Canada but my parents are on the flight to Canada now, not sure what to do now They only give 30 days from the letter to get it done and flight cost over 2K not to mentioned my parents are not healthy to take so many long flights in short time, I am so upset with IRCC policy on this biometric requirements! Why can't we do it inside Canada!!!

Go to mexico for vacation or Seattle USA if they have US visa

I thought you had clarity on your application process that Sponsor Decision was made and your file moved to London VO so biometric is the next logical step.

My parent is here, and exempt from bio

Indian residents are not exempt from BIO whether they are here or not , if you did not pay the fee , you will see the fee request soon

You need to wait until medical is requested. Your mother can do the medical in any country.

Yes it is his mistake not to pay the Bio fee with application , he paid on request caused the delay in issue the request

Yes you can have calls. If they are asking for money or SIN it is fraud. If you are in doubt ask for the number and extension then look it up go make sure it is a government number and call them back.

If the parent is in Canada, then the parent is exempt, IRCC confirmed it. And advised not to pay bio fee

Mexico is not taking non residents, USA need a tourist visa
