Hi All, i linked my parents application today, and i have a question about the bio metrics. My parents did their biometrics in 2017 when applied for supervisa, and it says it is valid for 10 years. Is this true or they still need to do biometrics?

in your case you submitted on May 8th - please call IRCC and try to get Temp File #/.

It's the policy, and honestly I think it's a cash grabber.

agreed! fingerprints and eyeballs don't change, so they should be able to use the same information. Hopefully this is the last time we are doing it, and will be over with our parents getting their PR

All, I have not received any AOR for the application which was delivered to the office on 01 May 2019. No update since then and I am unable to find any info online as well. Please help and advise.

All those who got "Decision Made" for sponsor, did your parents myCIC shows Background Check "in process" or "not applicable" ?
I am just trying to ascertain the fact if the background check is part of process or applicants are selected randomly for this check.
