Nov 28th applicant, still at background check...Anyone with similar timeline still waiting?

DM on both sides in ECAS today, now just waiting for landing letter.

I received my AIP on May 4 and no update since after. DM only on sponsor side and applicant side still in process. I am wondering if you were facing the same situation as me. If yes, could you please advise how many days it changes to DM on both side. Thanks

Eligibility: application is in progress. We will contact you when you start reviewing your eligibility.
Background: not available.

Did you experience the same in the past? Is my application on track with everyone else or it is different?

Your background check haven't started yet, you won't hear anything (eligibility review won't start) until after your background check starts and goes on for weeks or months
My background check started in March (I knew about that when I called automated phone service) and started getting updates in May and my background check is still going on, the process for me isn't done yet
You gotta wait for the background check, don't expect any news before that starts

Im trying to upload form eimm5669e schedule A as replacement of old one for additional document from CIC. I know its requires handwritten signature. Do i have print out and sign ( handwritten), scan and then upload ? Or just uplaod the pdf file provided i type-in my first and last name ?

If they requested schedule a again just type your name and they will accept it as signed. It says this end of the schedule a just write your name and put current date. Don't forget to validate and no this form does not generate barcode code so upload as its.

Personally I would sign just in case. Our application was rejected the first go around because we missed the handwritten signature on Schedule A. But it may be different as it is an update.

Print it sign it and scan it then upload it, better to be safe than sorry

yes you are right. My screen check has been started since Apr 4th. I went to US for a few times. Really wants to know how long does it take to finish. Did you call cic?

i spoke to an agent at the beginning of this month regarding for a ghost update on Apr 4th and i was informed that my security check was started on that day.

I'm not super worried, but just more curious who's still waiting My BG started on April 9th, do you know how long does it take on average to move from BG to DM?
