How confusing, someone else in this thread says agent told him to type fictitious dates, validate it, print out and then include letter of explanation. I feel they are very flexible and would accept both methods. As long as discrepancies are not due to forgeries or misdecleration they shouldn't red flag.

I think so...I finally could call them myself as well the agent said you can fill in the whole form manually or just send it unvalidated. She said the validation is just to ensure you have filled all mandatory fields. So its nothing serious.

Can anyone elaborate on the barcode pages please on IMM0008 and other forms. The guide states they should be put on top of the application.
4. Place the barcode page(s) on the top of your application (forms and supporting documents) when you submit it.
Does that mean I should staple the barcode page (s) as the first page in each application form or should I be placing them on top of all other paperwork in the application package, e.g. on top of check list form and invitation to apply?

Do you mean, at a time parents can stay up to 3 years? please let me know.

Its 2 years provided the visa office didn't stamp any date when you enter canada. If its stamped and no dates on it then it means you can stay for 2 yrs on super visa. if you want to stay longer than 2 yrs then you need to file for extension. On super visa the extention is for 1 yr.

Hi All, I did mistake in the interest to sponsor form to put 1 under number of person want to be sponsoring. Now i want to add spouse of my parents as a dependents for accompanying to Canada. However income level meet the criteria if i add spouse as a dependent.
Is it possible or it will be wrong when i submit complete application package with the processing fee.

You have to include both parents no matter what. You can’t only sponsor one parent if they are married.

Thank you for your guidance and knowledge sharing. I am just about to send the package off. Had couple of questions for the pictures do we need so sign the back? Also do u place them in the envelope or just leave them in the package. Also for courier what kind of service is best , do we need sign on delivery ? Thank you

The reason to Use representative form is that all the correspondence will go to your Applicant's address or their emails.
If you need to inquire anything about this application in future, you need to have this form filled.
Rest it is up to you

No staples!! Use paper clips

Correspondence is usually done via e-mail. Without that form they cannot discuss anything about the file with you. If you are handling this application on their behalf, do urself a favour and send in the form.

I called IRCC myself. before i could finish my question agent suggest to use 01/01 and validate. and provide the letter of explanation.
she didnt even say cut the 01/01 by hand. said just attach short explantion.
a friend who is also a consultant suggested to do the same. validate the form. invalidated form beg more question.

Here is what I think:
- We have to use our own judgment here. Validation, as mentioned in the checklist form, is important. So if we are not sure then add an approximate date. In my case, I will use 1920-01-01 as grand mother's DOB in 5669 form. VALIDATE THE FORM. Print it, sign it. Then in letter of explanation refer to this field of DOB and mention that you weren't able to find any DOB proof of grandmother and you had to submit a validated form as mentioned in doc checklist.

Final on my plan this time.
