Did the rep tell you that he/she will leave the message to the officer?
My rep told me the same thing on that day saying that it might take up to 1 month to process, and return the COPR in our hand, but they processed it on the next day, and returned it on the same day. So if they know they somehow delayed the process, they prioritize accordingly.

No the rep didn't....looks like they are counting 2 weeks from yesterday. she said the passports have been sent to visa printer room. So hopefully it is been done right now. I will call them early next week if MyCIC account has no change.

so after sending the passport to Ottawa, is there anyway to track? besides the prepaid envelop and calling them??

I think my experience is an exception that doesn't happen to a lot ppl. All my friends got passports back within 2 weeks. So you shouldn't worry too much. If nothing comes back close to end of second week, call CIC

I haven't sent yet till my mom travels back later on..

nope. My mother has diabties level 2 and hypertension, diabties was high still of last three month, passed medical with irrcc 2-3 weeks back
