Not exactly on the same boat, but mine was received in Ottawa on April 17, and I was not able to check anything or see any changes until yesterday. Not quite sure if this will still work, but you might want to check with CIC call centre to see what's going on.

From what I heard, they should process the COPR within two weeks of receiving the passport, and they won't hold your passport more than a month.

Once they issue COPR, your MyCIC account status will change to Approved, and within few days your return tracking code should be activated.

don't worry, they ask to do more tests / good only for dad, looks like mom is fine/
so contact your doctor and get directions what to do.
My parents did it at local hospital and I translated everything and sent back to doctor

Sometimes they need additional information to finalize medical results. It is common and don’t worry about it. Have them go to the panel physician and do the tests asap. Without knowing what is required and why, it is difficult to know the exact impact on the application.

Hi guys, Im new here.. I got invited to sponsor my parents and I received the email saying that I met the requirements. My application went to Mexico City visa office and two days ago I received the medical request and the request for the police certificate. They did not request any travel history, should I include in the mail as well? Or when should I expect the request for the history? Also, they made a mistake and instead of writing my dad and mom's name on the letter with the bar code, they wrote my dad's and mine. I already messaged the visa office in Mexico City about it but it takes up to 28 days to get a reply and as we need to send the docs within 30 days I called CIC today and they advice to send as it is and add a letter explaining what happened. Does anyone else had this experience? Thank you for your help

try to call Mexico VO and send email with " URGENT, wrong NAME" in subject
Since VO gives only a month call to the doctor's office as well and ask if you can come in this situation

To see the doctor it should not be a problem because the names and information on the medical reports are correct, only the letter with the bar code came wrong. I already email them and also send a web form. My parents should do the medical examination next week and I will get the police certificate translated and will send asap with a letter explaining the mistake. Do you know when and how long it should take for them to request the travel history? And what are the steps after they receive the police certificate and medical exams? Thank you @YULIA-2016

Has anyone applied under Parent sponsonship and provided a Notice of ReAssessment instead of Notice of Assessment for any the last 3 years?

Mine had to be reassessed after the original return was submitted

This is not an issue as long as you meet the income thresholds according to the Notice of Reassessment.

Glad to hear that yours is fine as well. Just wait for a day or two, it should be updated.
Our return tracking code was just activated, so I should expect the package on Monday.

I guess key thing for PPR is that we have to push them hard if we don't see any changes in 2 weeks; then they will expedite the process.
Of course, not quite sure for Local Visa Office, but we were both lucky that we were able to send it to Ottawa, so that the call centre agent was able to tell what's the status of our package.

You are right about pushing them. I called CIC again this morning and got kind of different information again. They only started to process my parent visa yesterday (possibly because Hong Kong was preparing to issue the visa but I sent passport to Ottawa, but yesterday the rep said Visa was approved the day before yesterday ). So it is another two weeks. At least the passports are in the system.

The lesson is: if sending passport to an office other than LOV, need to inform both LOV and that office. Apparently Visa is different issue by HK and by Ottawa. Although you are exactly same situation and didn't notice anyone.

I'm a 2019 applicant who just submitted his application yesterday, but with a mistake. I forgot to mention the names in the native language in IMM5406.
