I called CIC regarding EI deduction from line 150. Below is the response:
The agent confirmed that I do not have to deduct EI amount from line 150. When CIC reaches out to CRA, they will match what we wrote in IMM5768E with NOA for that tax year. So, they need to be consistent.
My scenario:
If I remove EI income and taxes for EI, I am 200$ less than cut off for 2016; other wise I am way over the cut-off. So, I am worried.
Is this response in sync with other's understanding?
I believe as we pay EI premiums as long as we work, it need not be deducted as that is not credit from government.

Look like you are ineligible and you stole a spot from a person who are totally eligible and hoped to get his/her parents in Canada. You crashed their dream but you don’t care, don’t you?
At least you will lose your fees when you file you application and it will be refused

I have same question and tried to get answer, but got no response so far. I'm gong to write an explanation about the error, at I am going to get a affidavit of single status to support the case. Don't know if anything else I could do to be able to help my application.

How do you know what you put there? Can we see our eoi somehow? I just don’t remember Jan 28 was a crazy day, I just don’t remember anything what was in that day
Guys, please let me know whether its a rule that we cannot submit the forms printed double-sided and stapled? I already submitted my application with double-sided printed forms and stapled.
Just an advice to all of us applicants. Do not rush to submit until you are 101% completely sure about the forms you have filled out. Also check out the following before printing and submitting your forms:
1. Make sure your forms shows VALIDATED .
2. Don't forget signatures of your parents (principal applicant) for forms IMM1344, IMM0008, IMM5669 AND IMM 5406.
3. Dates

Its shown in the 1st page's top right side (Office Use Only - Validated) as Yes/ No. It will change from No to Yes once you click on validate when you fill the forms correctly.

I added my parent- when submitted EOI, although now everywhere on website they say we have to include them, but for some reason on EOI we were not supposed to.
I have added an explanation letter along too.
