No, my brother is sponsoring my mother. I am filling out all the applications for them, he is a Canadian citizen. And yes I became PR in feb but I am not the sponsor

I got request for PCC from CIC. My parents are currently here in Canada on visitor visa. When they left India they did their PCC from India. The date on PCC is January 16th 2019. So are they still valid to submit to CIC?

Yes, it will be valid for 6 months.

Got reply from London VO on email inquiry I sent a month back.
It says, "Application awaits an initial review in London, once this review has taken place, we will be in contact".
It seems Application is in a long que and waiting for an officer to pick up the file.
Anyone else got any response from London VO ?

The biometric page and family relation page would be Page 2 and Page 36 respectively of your Indian passport.

Jan 28 and still no response on sponsorship. I called them and they said they are verifying social assistance if I had any, which I never took. Most of candidates done with their medicals as well. Just waiting ...

just had another call with CIC, and the answer is so disappointing...

"since it's not passing the regular processing time (12-24 months), the system blocks me to send Ottawa an email to investigate what's happenging to your application"

so there's no point to call until mid-August...
