Just wondering, i am waiting from cic to give new BR and MR with correct gender and i am not sure how long they will take to respond. Maybe, i should ask my wife to go and get MR and BR done? In the center, will they allow her to do MR and BR due to mismatch gender?

Its because they haven't requested Bio-metrics as yet that's why it says we do not need your fingerprints.

I am not sure about the pass.. but i know it does give your Biometric information on CIC account after its given

For everyone its different because on my Husband's account its has his biometric information from 4 years ago but it still says we do not need biometrics but yet I got an email to pay for the Bio-metric... I GIVE UP on trying to understand CIC.. I don't understand why they want someone to give biometrics again if you already did and its in their system... But for my hubby his Biometric info and expiration is on the mycic account and yet.... so everyone is different. I am just speaking from my experience

Yes, 'passed' is for medical and 'completed' for Biometrics.

Do you see 'We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility' as well?
I'm not concerned about Bg check in process but about eligibility not being started yet.

I think you are right. I linked the application to GC Key after receiving the biometrics as well as medical request emails. Now in the Gc Key account it says

Applicant information
"Date of Biometrics Enrolment: April 1, 2019
Expiry Date: April 1, 2029"

and in

I think best is to call CIC and let them know about the situation. It's tricky you might want to confirm before proceeding for test

Mine got updated the same day they receive results but if it's there in Application information i woudn't worry about it. They might forgot to update. Just to mention, I never got AOR but received SA straight. CIC rep. told me that it's fine as soon as you got the SA and consider that as an AOR
