eMedical is supposed to be done by the physician itself you have nothing to do toward it. So this doctor shall send the result to CIC (e-file) as far as i know. What you need to send is sometimes a confirm of the exam been passed which the doctor should be giving.

Yeah i checked our account today and it says medical has been passed. so i think now we can say it for sure, we don't need to send anything to them lol. Now just waiting for bio metric approval, had her finger prints done on Monday April 01.

we received an email from after bio metric from VFS saying that "application has been received is on transit to the IRCC office in New Delhi". I don't know what that means now. so, i guess we will wait and see.

Hmm - sent an email from the "contact us" page asking why I couldn't link from my (sponsors) account and if there were any issues I needed to address. Here's the core of the reply:

We have verified the sponsorship application and were unable to find information stating that you are the representative for the principal applicant.

The Privacy Act ensures that a person's identity and personal information are protected. For this reason, we cannot take action on your request since this file contains personal information about another person.

In order to respond to your inquiry, the principal applicant must provide written consent to IRCC by completing the Use of a Representative form and submitting it via the IRCC Web form. You may also contact the appropriate governing body to verify that you are a member in good standing.

Oh well - I'll have my wife try to make an account and link. Perhaps the different last names confused them?

Yes, as strange as it sounds at first, they're not allowed to release any information to you about the application if it pertains whatsoever to the PA unless you fill out the form that officially names you as a representative. So when you contacted them under your name, they couldn't release any information. You can either fill out the use of representative form and send to them, or you can just fill out another webform and sign it as (aka impersonate) your wife and they will be able to answer.

You linking the application to your account as the sponsor in itself is not a problem. I did this (we also have different last names) and I am not a representative.

I didn’t pay biometric upfront and got an email to pay for biometric . Fees paid same day and after 5 days got an email
Back confirming of the receipt from CIC . How long does it take to get Biometric request now ? Any average time between fees paid and request ?

Hi everyone! Just an FYI i received my AOR thru mail even if I put my email in my application. The date in the letter is the same as the update in ECaS, I also have DM since March 26. I gues i'll just it thru mail, coz i never received AOR and DM in my email. I received an email when they transferred our application to our Visa office in Missisuaga though, my PA side in ECAs it says they have sent him a letter and never received an email so maybe we will just wait for it to come thru the mail however he received his medical request thru email. Just a bit weird

My app was received on feb 22 and AOR on march 28 and still waiting for my SA,MR,BR.
I noticed one strange thing in mycic account. It says-
Review of eligibility Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility.
Background check We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Surprised to see that the eligibility has not been started but bg check already has.
Anybody in similar boat?

Anybody else experienced "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information." before getting requests for Biometrics, medicals, CSQ etc? on the same day as getting AOR?
Does anyone know what this means?
I havent been sent SA or anything yet, just AOR

If you're doing it at Medimigration then no, they use the eMedical system and take your photo there. If all is ok, they'll send the update through same day and you'll probably find it's updated either later that day or the day after (depending if it's a weekend).
