It is almost two years!
After interview I got pre arrival letter and its more than a month! Still they’re fuking process the background checks! I cant understand what are they doing! We are not deserving this!

Everything they asked I have had with me at the time of interview. Like police certificate and Nikah nama,,etc...
after the interview I received pre arrival on feb 2019 since that I am waiting for completion of background check.

No, I got PFL only and I replied back to them and got pre arrival after that and now stuck in background checks, October 2017 applicant

ALHAMDOLILAH received my wife PR card on March 10, 2019. We landed on Last week of Jan 2019.......... Amazing, at airport they said in 4 month you will receive ur PR card.......................but we received in 40 days.......crazy

Hello everyone,
Can anyone help me please... I apply for my husband sponsorship on September 2018 from canada... and i got the letter on September 18 that they received our file and the processing was starting. And on January 20 , 2019 they said to my husband to do his finger print and medical and I was asking to pay the 490 fees. Also, i recived a litter saying everything is clear from my side too. Everything was done by FEBURAY 05 2019. And by March 2019 I received another letter saying that they have send the file to London uk from PAKISTAN.... as I was sock and wondering why they have send it now... and I still hadn't heard anything from them.
I was wondering if anyone else file was send to London UK from pakistan. Thank you

For Canada applicants it goes to Nova Scotia not sure about UAE after that the Pakistani embassy is now in London

I am going through the same issue... I apply for husband sponsorship on September 2018 and now the file is in London UK. Even thought my husband have done all his medical and finger print and I pay all the fees too.

This is normal procedure. All Pakistani applications go to London Visa Office. Don't worry about that, Just know that this process is not easy and it is taking hell amount of time for everyone in this forum.

I have completed my 12months, and still waiting for final decision.

Finger prints and medical is done in the beginning of the process. It doesn't mean that you are close to completion.
You gotta just wait.

Passport submitted last Tuesday but and it is under process by IRCC for 4 days now. Does anyone know exactly how long it takes? I made the mistake of purchasing tickets but the flight is not till mid April.

Hy guys...anyone has any idea how long background can take in my wife's case. My timeline is as below.

Application received: 6 Feb 2018
First medical: March 28, 2018
Processing of Application started on: May 16, 2018
Additional Documents: Dec 10, 2018
2nd Medical request: March 20, 2019 (Medical done on 28 Mar, 2019)
Pre arrival received: Mar 21, 2019 (same day background check started)

Kindly anyone has an idea when i can expect her background to be completed. Thanks in advance!
