No you shouldn't be worried at all, sometimes they start the background check but they don't update it in the system right away
Don't worry hopefully you'll see the change soon

Just saw someone who applied on Jan 21st inland receive OWP and got medial request as well... Meanwhile I'm still waiting for background check to start -.- At least maybe my OWP will be approved soon...

OWP is separate processing office so it won’t change the “in process” on your spousal sponsorship application even you received your OWP

Hi everyone. Our RCMP check was sent out end of February by the RCMP but we have had no status update online. We don't have a linked account (unable to link) and have just been checking off of the Client Application Status page with UCI and all.

Just wondering if we should be concerned and should follow up?
