That's an insanely speedy progress after the medical... I passed my medical August 2018 and I'm stuck.....
You are completely right. I put a pression on them. Also my wife is expecting a baby and is due in July. Which had had a positive effect on my application.
Inland or outland applicants?
Outland Applicants

You did not explain how you were able to know the MP to contact as outlanders have no information on that. Kindly explain how you achieved your goal. Thank you

It is easy to get in touch with your MP. Select the province you are going in and look in google the region MP and email him/her about your application. Ask him to check your application status, talk to him about your application, your concerns and whatever you want him to do for you. He will call Immigration Canada and request your status and get back to you.
I email my MP when my application went over the processing time (19 months), I told him about the fact that my wife was pregnant and that we will love to have our child born in our new home and country in Canada. Which actually fastens our processing. I also used to email my Visa Office every morning to greet them and ask the blessing of God on the hard work they do everyday for thousands of people around the world, and also I show my interest to Canada by signing that my wife and I Love Canada.

How did you put pressure on them because I have three small children waiting to go to Canada. All the very best with your new baby and your landing

Is there any relative of yours residing in Quebec or you are on your own?
