Oh my God my OWP just got approved!!!!!!
Many people were telling me that my OWP won't get approved because I applied for OWP and PR when I was on implied status

My husband received his OWP on friday - Must have been a busy day for CIC! Does he now need to apply for a sin, or will one be provided for him? Thanks!

He needs to go to the nearest Service Canada to apply for one. Check their website to find the nearest one and to know what to bring aside from the work permit. https://www.canada.ca/en/employment-social-development/services/sin/apply.html

When was his OWP approved? I am trying to estimate when my husband will receive his.

Hi I did not receive anything yet regarding my owp I applied with my pr they received on nov15 medical done last month. No update on owp

It was approved Friday or he received it Friday? You saw below he received it Friday. So he has not received it yet?

Now I know it’s too early to think about it but I wonder how long more it’s gonna take for us to get our PR

Now after some time the background check starts and that usually takes from 3-6 months and sometimes longer depending on your country of citizenship and your travel history
After background check comes AIP which means they approved you and SA which means they approved the sponsor and then DM which means decision made
AIP, SA and DM come nearly at the same time
When you receive DM you get landing appointment
