How did you get medical request? Was it sent to email/gckey or was it a letter sent to PA?

Got an email that there is an update. Logged in to gckey and downloaded the letter.

Thanks. When the file got transferred to Colombo, does the PA get a letter? On ecas, it shows our application received date. Then it says ‘we sent you a letter. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.’ I’m wondering what it might be

Hi, Anyone did biometrics in Colombo? My husband did on Monday but no update in Gckey. How long will take it to appear on Gckey?
My husband files transfer to Colombo.
Still waiting on MR?

Mine was updated on the same day after few hours.

Yes, for file transfer you get a mail saying "We have forwarded your application to [Visa office name] for further processing". By the way, in which side has that "we sent you a letter" been displayed? is it in PA's side or Sponsor's side?

Then it could be the letter requesting your Biometrics or medical. If you have linked your application to the online account then you should get it there, if not it will come by post. I don't have much knowledge about the online account.

We already received the biometrics request through gckey last week. It’s weird because I have linked my application online but somehow there’s a letter being sent to my husband (the PA). It doesn’t even say what the letter is. I’m worrying what it might be. From what I have read online, medical requests are sent by email, if not it will say on ecas ‘letter with medical instructions has been sent.’ But in my case it just says we sent you a letter.

Is that the email From vfs (where the biometrics was done)? Because if it’s that PA received that email. But no specific email or letter from IRCC

Yes Vfs email.
Biometric letter came on PA email and he did at colombo

Since my application is linked to the online account, biometrics request was uploaded there. He did at Colombo as well.
